I actually have a dog chain that is rusted and everything I have searched up so far has told me to scrub it off because they were talking about pipes or cars. But I was wondering if there was anything out there I could possibly just soak it in, then wipe off with a rag or something. I figured soaking it would be easier just for the fact that it is not a sturdy metal for one, and for two it has small areas that are hard to reach. Does anyone have any ideas?
spray the rusted area with WD40. It should dissove the rust out and lubricate the area at the same time.
