Besides Kreeme, what other products are there for cleaning rust out of the inside of my gas tank?

I hear Kreeme is good but it flakes off if not done right. What other rust removers/tank liners are there?

Removing rust from a gas tank can be accomplished in a number of ways. Different strategies include using abrasives such as gravel or washers, using acids such as muriatic acid or vinegar, using a battery and washing soda, using a tank coating kit, or using a combination of the aforementioned strategies. All of them work fairly well.

How can i get an old rust stain out of my fiberglass bath tub? I have tried everything i can thinnk of!?

I bought a forclosure mobile home and it has a big rust stain in the tub. I have tried many different kinds of cleaning products but nothing has helped! I cannot afford to buy a new one. I have tried many different rust removers and even tried bleach and a brillo pad. I have also tried clr and nothing works. Please help me!!

You can try the acid as a last resort-but i suspect the surface of the tub is already compromised..The glazing or enamel itself wont rust–but the metal underneath can and will pop through the finish…You may have to get a pro to re-glaze the tub or install a liner if the acid doesn’t work and you cant change it.
